Tami Simon: Being True

Summary: Tami Simon is the founder of the hugely successful multimedia publishing company ‘Sounds True’. Over the last 30 years, Sounds True has become the world's leading wisdom-based publishing house with a mission to disseminate "spiritual wisdom". She has published a hundreds of teachers and thinkers like Pema Chödrön, Eckhart Tolle, Seth Godin and Brené Brown. Tami hosts a weekly podcast series called Insights at the Edge. Tami was in Australia as part of the Wake Up Project “Women Leading Change” tour held in 2015. During this talk Tami shares what it means for her to fully show up in her life. She reflects on how important it is to tell the truth, take risks and trust your own experience. At one part during this talk Tami talks about the idea that we are all receiving personal guidance from our higher instincts and life itself. Finally, she shares the role of “guidance” in growing an amazing company, being in a long term relationship - and ultimately leading change.
