For 32 years, he edited the University's "Michigan Quarterly Review," an eclectic interdisciplinary journal of arts and culture that seeks to combine the best of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction with outstanding critical essays on literary, cultural, social, and political matters. Goldstein is the author, most recently, of a fourth book of poems, "A Room in California," and a book of literary criticism, "Poetry Los Angeles: Reading the Essential Poems of the City."
