Summary: This week, we discuss a few micro/tiny games. These are games that generally fit easily in your pocket or purse. A few cards, a few tokens, a few dice. We’ve also been <a href="http://amzn.to/1TIKn9w">reading the book</a>.<br> <a href="http://amzn.to/20S6yOO">Monopoly Deal</a><br> <a href="http://www.oriblindforest.com/">Ori and the Blind Forest </a>– platformer for PC &amp; Xbox<br> <a href="http://amzn.to/1TPjoOM">The Order 1886</a><br> We visited the <a href="http://www.carlemuseum.org/">Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art</a> in Amherst, MA.<br> Here’s a few of the micro games we discussed:<br> <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1839615594/the-princess-and-the-goblin-a-game-of-daring-escap">The Princess &amp; The Goblin</a><br> <a href="http://amzn.to/20S6yOO">Monopoly Deal</a><br> <a href="http://amzn.to/1UfTkXg">Iota</a><br> <a href="http://amzn.to/1sJZsAF">Tiny Epic Kingdoms</a>, and the rest from <a href="http://www.gamelyngames.com/">Gamelyn Games</a><br> <a href="http://boardgamegeekstore.com/products/tmg-micro-game-coin-age">Coin Age</a><br> Dice games, like <a href="http://amzn.to/1TPjrdA">Zombie Dice</a> and <a href="http://amzn.to/1r28bgl">Tenzi</a>, could possibly be considered micro games, depending on how many dice you need; but they are still quite portable and fast to play.<br> <a href="http://amzn.to/20S7TVR">Set</a>, which is a great card game teaching pattern-matching for non-readers, while complex enough for older children to enjoy.<br>
