Summary: For NYE 2012-2013 it seemed like a great idea to celebrate 100+ years of dance music. The Majestic Theatre (in Madison, Wisconsin) was built in 1906 and has seen it's fair share of dance parties in it's long history as an entertainment venue. For this event we began in the 1900's & steadily moved our way forward as the night advanced. The first part of the set is interesting since the recording technologies of the time were quite primitve & thus there's a serious lack of bass or fidelity. As we progressed into the 1950's it was like going from black & white to technicolor as the frequenices opened up. This is the first part of the night covering the 1900's-1960's.
