Bruce is a veteran Ironman triathlete, a long time member of the famed Timex Multisport Team, a former college swimmer at the University of Alabama and was the first person overall to exit the water in Kona at the Ironman World Championship in 1997. Bruce returns to Kona this year to compete as an athlete for the first time since 1999.
