E41: Gerry Matalon

Summary: Gerry Matalon is a seven-time Emmy Award recipient. He’s also actively involved in programs for mentoring, diversity, and recruitment. Most recently Gerry was the Senior Coordinating Producer of On-Air Talent Development for ESPN TV Production and ESPN Radio. His duties included on-air performance evaluation, personal coaching, and career management. He also works closely with on-air personnel to identify growth opportunities. From 2005-2008 he was in charge of studio content for live game coverage on ESPN and ESPN2, the network’s highest-priority programs. His responsibilities included overseeing producers, coordination of staffers, technical operations, and programming budget. It's an honor to have Gerry on the show.
