ACT 7 Madison, WI - Fighting the HIV/AIDS Virus, One Mile at a Time

SistersTalk Radio show

Summary: Today I spent several hours hanging out with an amazing group of people who are doing ACT 7 - a 300 mile bike ride to raise money for (and awareness of) HIV/AIDS. Today was the 3rd day of the 4-day event and it was probably the most challenging because today's segment was 103 miles long! Listen to interviews with Karen Dotson (Executive Director of the AIDS Network), Andrea (my partner and a rider in this year's event), Tracy and Jim (also riders) and Keith (one of the crew members). (there's a slight pause after Karen's interview, but hang on for more) Watch the slideshow while you listen to these wonderful people discuss: 1. Why they chose to be involved in the AIDS Ride 2. Their most memorable experience 3. Challenges during today's ride See more updates from day one and day two here and here. Listen to more SistersTalk Radio. Follow SistersTalk on Twitter.
