Allow Red Cross to come in and help.<br> a. Not Quick or Efficient<br> b. But they can still help<br> 2. Allow any and ALL private organizations that are willing to help<br> a. Churches<br> b. Small non-profits<br> 3. All town members:<br> a. Use their resources to help other<br> b. Basic damage control and cleanup.<br> <br> i. Fencing<br> ii. Moderate home repair and land cleanup<br> iii. Remove large trees<br> iv. Give room and board to the new homeless<br> 4. I don’t really need to spend any more time here, because there is a lot of resources for this.<br> How Do We Help with Post-Response Community Rebuilding?<br> 1. Large call to action for all local and regional businesses<br> a. Larger businesses have more expendable funds<br> b. Local businesses will have the biggest gain from involvement<br> i. They become town heros<br> c. Businesses have more expendable funds will need to come up with cost-effective, efficient processes to cover needs<br> i. Clothing Shops: Basic clothing needs (not expensive trendy items)<br> ii. Grocery Stores and Restaurants: Basic food needs<br> <br> Rice, oats, basic veggies<br> Temporary diet change, higher quality foods not necessary<br> Best connections to get cheap foods<br> <br> <br> iii. Construction Crews, Businesses, and Engineers: New Cheap Permanent Homes<br> <br> Rebuilt<br> <br> Trailers are temporary<br> Need to rebuild<br> <br> a.
