Steven LaChance lived through what some call one of the most violent hauntings in history. In 2012, in an unprecedented move the Roman Catholic Church issued a 156 page report calling his haunting a clear case of demonic infestation, oppression, and possession. The haunting lasted for ten years. In October 2006, the Discovery Channel premiered its third season of its hit show "A Haunting" with an episode featuring Steven, his family, and friends on the haunting titled "Fear House." The depiction of this shows demonic clown has frightened many and is considered one of televisions most terrifying moments. "Fear House" has been seen by over 26 million people worldwide. In 2007, Steven released his first book about the haunting called, "The Uninvited" and it quickly gained critical praise and a worldwide audience. In 2010, Warner Brothers featured Steven and others talking about thier hauntings for a documentary for the smash hit CW show "Supernatural." The Warner Brothers DVD set for this show which featured the documentary hit number one on the charts worldwide. In 2014, Steven released his follow up book on the haunting, "Blessed Are The Wicked," which broke records hitting the charts within 5 minutes of its digital release and received critical acclaim for its worldwide release. Steven has appeared on numerous rado shows, television appearances, and written media around the world including Fox, CNN, NBC, SyFy, Chiller, The Discovery Channel, Destination America, Coast to Coast, and many more. Steven also worked extensively with The Booth Brothers on many of thier films in starring roles, writing, and background research.Steven makes weekly appearances working with The St. Louis Paranormal Research Society. He helps give weekly tours of the famous haunted Lemp Mansion. He also was part of the sold out tours of the 4500 seat Fabulous Fox Theater in St. Louis this past Fall. This two night engagement sold out in less than ten minutes.Steven is currently working on many media projects, tours, and his new book which is expected for another worldwide release in 2016 titled, "Where The Devil Played" which will feature cases from the most haunted neighborhood in America. Steven is responsible for some of the most high profile cases in the last ten years. He was the first to investigate these locations and is responsible for putting them onto the paranormal map.
