We last visited Mr. Isbell on <a href="http://1beer1song.com/2013/07/16/51-the-alchemist-heady-topper-and-jason-isbell/" target="_blank">episode 51</a>, shortly after he released <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeastern_(album)" target="_blank">Southeastern</a>, which will probably go down as one of the greatest singer-songwriter/country/folk/alt-country/cry-in-your-car-alone/triumphant-return albums of our generation. His new album, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Something_More_Than_Free" target="_blank">Something More Than Free</a> came out a couple weeks ago and Russ's expectations couldn't be higher.
