The Organic View show

Summary: Over the years numerous law suits have been filed against the U.S. EPA by beekeepers and other concerned citizens in an effort to protect honeybees. Although the global population of honeybees and other pollinators continues to decline, EPA continues to take action at a glacial pace. In this special series called “The Neonicotinoid View”, which is produced by The Organic View Radio Show, host June Stoyer and special guest co-host, Colorado beekeeper, Tom Theobald talk to Greg Loarie, Esq. from Earthjustice about several lawsuits against EPA regarding the protection of honeybees. Stay tuned! Greg Loarie is a staff attorney at the California office of the public interest environmental law firm Earthjustice.  Greg is currently representing beekeeping associations and other organizations in litigation challenging state and federal approval of systemic insecticides that are toxic to honeybees and other pollinators.  Greg received his undergraduate degree from U.C. San Diego, and his law degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. Are you an avid gardener or are just learning about gardening?
