WHY A MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO: LUNCH WITH LOUDEN 5/14/15

Coffee Party USA Radio show

Summary: Why a March Against Monsanto: Lunch with Louden 5/14/15 Monsanto is the poster child for INDUSTRIAL agriculture. Not alone in this mind set, Monsanto has shown us a corporate will to pursue profits on the world stage. Some say this is the future of food production, necessary to feed a hungry planet. Others say this is the end of our ability to produce our own food at home and around the world, the more sustainable of the two options.  I don’t have to go far to witness the controversy over Factory Farms and Industrial Ranchers. I have a ballot on my desk today that asks the question, “Should voters enact an ordinance prohibiting cultivation of genetically engineered organisms and creating rights relating to local food production?” This is a big enough issue to merit the national call for the March Against Monsanto on May 23rd. Will you participate?  Weigh in. This is America's conversation.
