Most anything of value in your home is ruined and/or gone. You are left with the clothes on your back, what you keep in your vehicles and any items that are in a DETACHED structure only. Describe now how you begin to put the pieces back together, how you deal with insurance, etc. If you keep documents, money, etc in a firebox or firesafe you can assume those survived. You find the man in your home, you order him the ground but he comes at you, you shoot him, he is down dying in a pool of blood. For what ever reason you are alone in your home, no other witnesses.
