Summary: In this episode we chat with Sari Feldman the recently elected President Elect of the American Library Association, who will serve her term as president in the 2015/16 term.Sari is the executive director of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Parma, Ohio.She has also served as president of the Public Library Association (PLA) (2009-10), chair of the ALA Office for Literacy/Outreach Services Advisory Committee (2000-2003) and co-chair of the ALA Digital Content and Libraries Working Group (2011-present).Sari talks with me about why she ran for the presidency of ALA, how she campaigned, what it meant to be successful and what she hopes to achieve. We also talk about the role of library associations and how they can work internationally together.
