Summary: A little something showcasing the talents of Innervision record label visionaries Ame, Dixon and Schwarz... I've used a couple Schwarz tracks in the past (most recently on Deep 11?). But it really wasn’t until I Heard his Mari Boine remix (Soulful 10?) that I was blown away. Of course there's plenty of remixes to fall back on, the James Brown for example... but stayed away from that. This originally started out as a two hour mix, but the way I had it planned out, showcasing some newer tracks from the label, it really didn’t work so I had to shorten it a bit, and included my favorites rather than forcing the tracks. I had used Kuar before, so here I give u a remix. Boddhi was featured on Secret Weapons, and Rodamaal on the recent Ame Live cd. Again, apologies to those looking for commercial house, you wont find it here, these are tracks that I love to listen to from intro to outro. I've always stayed away from formula driven music. I hated techno, still do I think, but my definition of it I must add. With these guys, we get that German tech/deep edge but with soul oozing throughout, even if there's no vocals, and I love that. Amazing stuff, and incredible how they interpret tracks for the dance floor. I really wanted to use the acoustic version of Osunlade's Envision, but I sense that I've been hammering out Osunlade tracks a bit too much so let it ride this one out.
