Summary: Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Stephen Breyer visits the National Constitution Center to discuss his book, Active Liberty: Interpreting our Democratic Constitution. Based on the Tanner lectures on Human Values that Justice Breyer delivered at Harvard University in November 2004, Active Liberty explores the Constitution as a guide for applying fundamental American principles to a changing society.
