I understand that our good taste in pastries can inspire envy in some, but that is hardly a reason to be uncivil about it.   Sincerely, The Listener from Denmark   Epic Comment: Jay O   Thanks guys for a great show! I'm glad you brought up Neverwinter. I've been playing (with a bit of a few month break) since Alpha. I think it's a great game that is only going to get better. I've played WoW, EVE, Age of Conan, Lotro, SWTOR, the Secret World, GW2 and a bit of Rift...would you believe Neverwinter is the only game I've taken to max level/end game? I'm glad I did. For one thing it didn't take me a year to get there (maybe a month and a half on my HR)...which is way more fun when your a middle-aged guy with a job/house/family and don't have hours and hours of game time. There is so much potential here...have you tried well-rated foundry quests? Tried any of the Call to Arms events? PVP? What do you think of the action combat?...I love it and have been spoiled from playing traditional MMO hotkey games (also spoiled by GW2 which is my other favourite game right now). I love the simple interface while still being able to draw from a fairly substantial skill tree to mix things up or make things just the way I want for my play style. I'm getting excited for the epic stuff I'll be able to do at lvl 60. Cons to the game: I don't like the Perfect World influence of constantly advertising the super loot someone just got from a lock box, I don't like that you can't scroll in and out on your character without hitting "B", I don't like that there isn't a shifting of day/night cycles or weather events... I've heard that cool stuff could be in the works, like introducing at some point UGC persistent zones that would draw on the Neverwinter Nights authoring crowd. And I LOVE Forgotten Realms lore... Thanks for making mention of the game, I think it's deserving of love and honourable mentions on good shows like yours. Seeing how this game has changed and grown since alpha, I'm sure it'll grow into an even greater game...just wished it was owned by someone other than Perfect World.
