CCP will be dangling eight new ship skins as potential rewards for a successful search. Kronos will also include a rebalance of 38 ships, a "heap" of modules, and a total overhaul of the drone weapon system. CCP stated that the two themes of the expansion's balancing are the ascendancy of pirates and mercenaries and advancements in industrial technology. Not much of the story has been given away, but a offical trailer shows that Tokyo is infected by something, is locked down, and they are executing anyone that is infected. The update will have one of three new areas added to it, full of stories and quests. The other two large areas will be add in the next two issues. It will also add the new AEGIS system, which is like a swappable elemental system, and used in fights with mobs that suddenly put up a variety of different AEGIS shields. The new areas must be bought from the store to enter them. When the third Tokyo Issue is released, it will have a new Lair area, a new Dungeon, and a new Raid. There is also a new scenario map made, but it has no release date yet.
