Summary: Douglas Mallette, former NASA subcontractor and systems engineer joins ZM Global to discuss his efforts to found a company dealing in next-gen farming to tangibly solve the world food issue. The aim of Cybernated Farm Systems (CFS) is to provide locally vertically grown fresh food using aquaponics. Saving space, using fewer resources and "doing more with less" is the key to global sustainable decentralized food production. Doug has als created the "SusPlus" Initiative, a free standard designed not only to be sustainable, but to encourage a sort of "reverse pollution", to leave the environment better than prior to deployment of an industrial or production operation.
