ROBIN FALLS KIDS NEW SHOW THE WHOLE TRUTH HOSTED BY MARSHA COOK

Red River Radio show

Summary: On April 9th at 12 Noon (central) join host Marsha Cook and her assistant Denise Spooner for a very candid discussion about the question parents and children alike are wondering. Will there be jobs for our children when they get out of school? High School can be a very stressful place for kids these days. They are trying to plan for their future not knowing which career path will allow them to have jobs when they finish school. One of the guests for this show will be Robert Raymond author of Entrepreneur’s Guide To the Universe and Before You Grab The Doorknob, a survival guide to keeping your job. He is also the owner of Prarie Avenue Group Consulting Firm. Robert will discuss the employment market and how to plan for a career when you may be one of thousands applying for the same job. Meredith Alger will also be on the show. She is a noted Social Worker and expert in youth issues. After graduating from Lawrence University with a B.A. in Psychology, Ms. Alger worked for two years with young people tackling issues such as academic, social, emotional, or behavioral concerns. She developed and administered an after school program, planning events, and carrying a crisis pager in Evanston, Illinois. She went back to school, looking to gain knowledge and skills, knowing that she wanted to work with children and adolescents. Ms. Alger received a Master's degree from the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration in 2008 and became a Licensed Social Worker, as well a Certified School Social. Parents want the best for their children and after listening to this program they will be able to discuss options for their children’s future. They say the economy is improving, but will our children be able to support themselves and their families in the future? During the show the call line will be open and questions from listeners will be priority.
