Ellen Notbohm visits

Autism BR show

Summary: Raising a child with autism is a constant learning and teaching process. Not only do the parents of a child with autism have to learn from their child, they also have to teach the community how to coexist with their child. Ellen Notbohm has been learning, teaching, and sharing with the autism community since her now 17-year old was identified at age three. Ellen has appeared on the Autism Briefing Room over the past three years and I have enjoyed the visits. In this show Ellen tells us about her new book “1001 Great Ideas for Teaching and Raising Children with Autism and Asperger’s “ a revised and expanded 2nd edition and gives us a peak of what it was in like the olden days of autism treatment 13 years ago as compared to now.
