Summary: Christmas is everyone's favorite season of the year. The exchange of gifts, family gatherings and special church programs make this time of the year particularly significant for the believer. Christmas was made possible because Jesus Christ was willing to leave His throne in glory and come to redeem us from our bondage of sin. Philippians 2:6-8 says "who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross (ESV). This Christmas , you can do as Christ did and make some major readjustments that would bring honour to His name. Go out of your way to show love this season. Forget your status and reach out to another. Share the love of Christ that we have so freely received.
