Summary: One war against one man... but they drew first blood. Action August continues with the 1982 film that set the standard for the 90 minute action movie, and made Stallone a star; First Blood. A Vietnam vet gets pushed too far and the consequences are dire to a small town sheriff and eventually the National Guard. This movie seems to be eclipsed and in the shadow of its sequel, Rambo, so we thought it might be nice to watch it as a stand alone film and see how it holds up. Enjoy!
