Summary: This week on the aRTs Roundtable we talk about the release from NCCAS (National Coalition for CORE ARTS Standards) of the PreK-8 arts standards. The High School arts standards being released later this year. Instead of dance, music, theater, and visual arts creating their own standards, the entire arts community with the addition of media arts are creating overall CORE ARTS standards. The committee is asking for feedback and you can review and comment here. We discuss our thoughts and important details about the new standards.
