Review #140 Murder By Death

Film History on Videotape Podcast show

Summary: Film History On Videotape / Film History Favorites / Review #140 / Murder By Death Have you ever been invited to an old Gothic mansion in the middle of nowhere for a dinner party only to find out that it was really the premise for MURDER?   Film History on Videotape brings you Murder By Death, the 1976 comedy written by Neil Simon.  Part mystery, part spoof, but all laughs (some more deserving than others).  This was one of our favorites growing up hence it being a part of of our Film History Favorites for the month of September.  Starring David Niven, Peter Sellers, Eileen Brennan, Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, and a young Maggie Smith star in this screwball whodunit that bares a striking resemblance to Clue, which came almost a decade later.  Enjoy!
