Summary: Attorney General Eric Holder released a memo saying the federal government would not interfere with Washington's new marijuana law given some conditions, such as limiting proliferation beyond the state's borders and keeping pot away from minors. The King County prosecutor won't seek the death penalty for the local man who robbed and killed his grandparents after they threw a party to celebrate getting out of jail. President Obama apparently has no good options for intervening in Syria. He and Sec. of State John Kerry stressed how serious a problem the use of chemical weapons on civilians is. An Alabama radio station is apologizing for playing an alien takeover gag to promote their reformatting. The radio takeover fooled enough people that kids were kept home from school and the police were called.
