Summary: This is the first episode of a two-episode series wherein we review all eight beers from a Schmaltz Brewing Company He'Brew Jewbelation Vertical Gift Pack from 2010. Our friend Garrett supplied the beer, so he gets to be on both episodes. It's part of the deal. Also, we like Garrett and have been wanting to have him on for a while now. Also, the Mackie Onyx Blackjack recording interface that changed our lives starting in Episode 45 only has two mic inputs, so I had to get an XLR splitter to accommodate three mics and don't we sound awesome yes we do. If a single beer and a single song normally take us over 20 minutes to blather on about, the thought of increasing the beer count by 700% (to eight) made us want to delete all podcasts ever. Even with three people talking about four beers and a 5-minute song, we managed to keep it to 36 minutes, and the second episode is only a couple minutes longer than that. YOU'RE WELCOME. I say largely unknown world, but Garrett mentions on the show that he has a Salsa Pandora station because of course he does. I came across Oquesta el Macabeo while perusing one of them fancy NPR Heavy Rotation lists, which are like shitty Buzzfeed listicles, except not shitty. Al I can say is, thank goodness Garrett can speak Spanish, because this episode would otherwise have been even less informative, if you can imagine that.
