Starve the Doubts show

Summary: Dr. Tomi Grover is the guest for Episode 24.  Tomi serves as a speaker, author, and teacher. She endeavors to enlighten a variety of audiences on the varied aspects of human trafficking. Additionally, she brings a message to respond to God’s call personally. I meetup with Tomi to do this episode at Panera Bread in Fort Worth, TX near TCU. I originally met Tomi at the SCORRE Conference and we had a powerful discussion about Human Trafficking. I sensed a need to interview her on the show. We used the Voice Memo app on my iPhone 4s to record our conversation over lunch. For more info, connect with Tomi on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIN. Here's what you'll learn from this episode: Tomi is thrilled to announce a new book entitled “Compelled.” In the book, she explores the Christian church’s role, responsibilities, and response to the atrocities of human trafficking.  Tomi tells how God is compassionately compelling a response to human trafficking in the world. Tomi crafts messages on culture related topics about U.S. children’s vulnerabilities through media and technology including the blight of pornography on this generation. The issue of Human Trafficking is a big deal. Tomi provides some awesome resources to raise awareness and take action! Tomi founded TraffickStop in 2009. It's an educational initiative to advocate and engage people on human trafficking. She believes everyone needs to know more about human trafficking and how they can make a difference.  Book feature: In the meantime...
