The Biggest Loser: 5 Ways To Make The Show Better!

Angry Trainer Fitness show

Summary: So last night the season finale of NBC’s hit weight loss show The Biggest Loser aired – with big ratings and big weight loss results – as usual. As you may know from my Biggest Isn’t Best piece I’m not the biggest fan of The Biggest Loser and take issue with many of the elements that make up the show’s format. Although the series is a huge success, I feel it’s missing some crucial elements that would make it a more responsible – and credible – program. So I figured now would be a good time to say what I would change about the show – and why! Now full disclosure - I actually submitted myself for consideration as a trainer for the new season, sending in a binder, with 7 sections clearly outlining who I was, my qualifications, philosophies, and the ways in which I thought the show could be made better. Needless to say, I never received a call! But then I can’t compete with the likes of the show’s new trainer, tennis starlet Anna Kournikova who’s obviously more equipped to be a personal trainer on a national television show, with morbidly obese people, than I am… Don’t you just love “reality” television! Anyway take a listen to my suggestions and let me know if you agree. Surely you must have an opinion, so let’s hear it
