Rav Sariella Creeger of www.beithatorah.org spent the first hour with us today discussing the ministries her, her assembly and others have been so generously supporting with respect to our brethren in Africa and India. Due to the political unrest and warfare occurring in the Congo, a great many brethren are being displaced, persecuted and murdered. What Sariella and others have been doing is providing basic relief funding in order to provide medical care, food, clothing and shelter. Yet the brethren are still very much in dire need for other basic essentials. There are over 140 congregations which www.beithatorah.org is providing support to. If you can help, every last bit is appreciated and your prayers count for much. Our second guest was Lee Miller of House of David Fellowship in Richmond, Virginia. Lee Miller has joined us to start a series concerning women in the assembly which will air on Cuppa Shebrews for the next 4-6 weeks. Do the words “brethren” and “men” always apply to just men? Who is Paul addressing in ICor1:10, 11, 26, 2:1, 3:1, 10:1, 11:33, 12:1, 14:6,20? Is it just the male brethren or both men and women?! As previously stated by Lee, it does not matter what the truth is, all that matters is that we discover what His truth is! While this subject might challenge some folk’s paradigm, it’s still critical to test everything for yourselves.
