Around the Wood Stove show

Summary: Shawna Stoltzfoos is a Lancaster screenwriter, actor, and filmmaker. David Moulton is the host of The Lancast, a local general interest podcast. He's also the producer of Shawna’s latest video project, a six-episode mini-series called Young/Lancaster, which will premiere in its entirety on Friday, August 23 at Zoetropolis Art House and Theatre, 315 W. James St., Lancaster. The series chronicles the main character, Harriet, as she navigates life as a young artist in Lancaster, PA, and was shot on location around the city. Interwoven into each episode are short animated history lessons about historical Lancastrians who were involved in the arts and creativity. All animation and the original score was created by Barnaby and Julie Holmes. Shawna and David recruited 50 Lancaster creatives to participate in the creation of the series. Each episode was directed by different Lancaster area filmmakers and included different cast members. Shawna also joined us on Around the Wood Stove back in April on episode #102 to get us up to speed on the project as it was unfolding.
