SMRPodcast #168: No Name Calling

SMRPodcast show

Summary: Episode #168 of the SMRPodcast has been recorded, is online, and ready for download. The week we start the show of with a bit of sad news. We heard word that James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) died of a heart attack at the age of 51 right before we started the show. All three of us are pretty big Sopranos fans. Robb and Chris both saw "Man of Steel" and thought that it was a pretty good movie and definitely worth checking out if you are into action flicks. Microsoft changes their tune on Internet connectivity and DRM in Xbox One games. Chris feels strongly that everyone complaining simply doesn't understand the benefits of the direction MS was trying to move in. Robb and Rod believe that the change in direction removes an objection that could push hard core console gamers to the PlayStation 4. Apple TV gets HBO Go and ESPN, Microsoft is selling the Surface RT for $199 to students, and it doesn't look like Microsoft will be buying Nokia. We got all this, our picks, and more in episode #168 of the SMRpodcast.
