Summary: The root of all evil is corporate power! This week on Talking Left, we unintentionally focused on corporate power - and the damage that power does to our nation. First, we spoke with Nicole Flatow, of Think Progress Justice, about how corporate interests have corrupted our court system - all the way from the local level to the U.S. Supreme Court. Nicole explained how, once again, the Supreme Court Justices ruled in favor of big business in a case between American Express and small business merchants. We also talked about the lack of regulation on harmful arbitration clauses and Senator Elizabeth Warren's recent speech about corporate control of the courts.
