In an interview last year with "Nylon Guys" magazine, McConaughey had this to say about the films he is most well-known for: “On those romantic comedies, I’m going, ‘How do I keep the balls on the dude?’” Does Jason think McConaughey is out of his league starring as the slick Lincoln Lawyer? Or just where he belongs? Fast Facts: Considered to exist in the same universe as the film Blood Work which is also based on a novel written by Michael Connelly. As of August of 2011, ABC had ordered a pilot for a TV series based upon The Lincoln Lawyer. Interestingly, Connelly wanted McConaughey to play Mickey Haller based on his performance in Tropic Thunder. Mickey Haller is based on a real lawyer in Los Angeles named David Ogden.
