Summary: Michael offers a unique perspective as an investigator of both the living and the dead! Michael is a police detective, having ten years of law enforcement experience. He has been actively investigating ghosts since 2000. Michael has a background in the sciences, having studied and worked in the field of exercise physiology and sports medicine for over ten years before pursuing a life long dream of being a police officer. He studied at Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY, and Manhattan College in NY, NY. He still maintains professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. He teaches college part time as an adjunct instructor of movement science for Orange County Community College, a unit of the State University of New York system. Michael's career in Law Enforcement began with a year as a corrections officer for the New York State Department of Correctional Services. In 1999 he was hired by the City of Port Jervis, NY, Police Department. He is a graduate of the Rockland County Police Academy and served as a patrolman from 1999 to 2005. In 2006 he was promoted to the rank of detective. As detective Michael has investigated numerous criminal offenses, including sex crimes, property crimes (theft, burglarly), crimes against a person (such as assault, robbery) and other offenses. He has conducted many death investigations in cases where someone died unattended, under susicious circumstances, accidentally and by suicide. He has ten years of experience in interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects. His investigative skills and experience are unique in the field of paranormal research.
