Summary: Many Christian sincerely say to me, "How can I answer a question when I don't know the answer?" I've got two observations here. First of all, don't be shocked. I have been asked questions for which I don't have an answer. The first answer to that question is "Give me time. I will research it. And if I find an answer, I will come back to you." That gives you a chance to take your time, to talk to a more experienced Christian, to research it in books or on your computer and then come back and it gives you a chance to talk again.Secondly, when you have a question that you don't know the answer you can say "Look, why don't you read the Gospel of John for yourself. Why don't you study it." For instance, in 1 Timothy chapter 3 it says, "From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ." And then it goes on to say in 2 Timothy 3, "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." You know, you don't have to answer every question but you can always give a passage of scripture and the Holy Scripture has great power. That's why I encourage our listeners always - you memorize as many Bible verses as you can because it'll help you to answer questions from God's point of view.
