Summary: Recently, we had the pleasure of speaking to Joannie Bewa, a Beninese doctor and a young African leader on the rise. Following her participation in President Obama's Young Africa Leaders Forum in 2012, she created a youth organization called the "Young Beninese Leaders Association," which addresses the issues of youth, leadership, education, women's empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
