Summary: MEXICO EDITION. The teacher protest in Mexico against education reform is getting stronger. The Regional Coordinator of Community Police Authorities, at least 13 unions, the Council of Ejidos Against the La Parota Reservoir, and students from the Rural Normal School of Ayotzinapan have joined the protests and roadblocks on the highway between Mexico City and Acapulco. On Wednesday April 10th, these organizations formed the Guerrero People's Movement and present a bill to their state congress to protect labor rights. At the same time, in the states of Oaxaca, Michoacán, Puebla, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Guanajuato, Chihuahua and the Federal District, teachers have joined the protest, announced a national strike and are filing to repeal the reforms, appealing to Article 3 of the Constitution, which guarantees a free education in Mexico.
