Guild Wars Reporter show

Summary: Chris and Celeste go back in time for this special 8bit themed Super Adventure heavy episode. Listen now: What We Did This Week Celeste: Guild Bounty Training SAB Dead Drops and Sonic Periscopes Chris: Super Adventure Box is super!   Report from Lion’s Arch Super Adventure Box https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/april-2013/ 3 levels of awesome Moto creates the SAB as a VR teaching tool for the Progeny (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/video-the-origin-of-super-adventure-box/ Origin of SAB) basically a gigantic jumping puzzle without falling damage available during the whole month of April SABFAQ https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/your-super-adventure-box-questions-answered/ I’m not sure how they knew the frequently asked questions when it was on the day of release and people hadn’t asked too many questions about it. No in-game skills, weapons, buffs or pets can be taken into SAB easy mode is the only mode for me (clouds pooping rainbows ftw) dodge jump is an awesome tip always carry a towel is a lovely reference   Music of SAB https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/the-music-of-super-adventure-box/ I’ll be honest this goes WAY over my head. adds an authentic feel to the graphics, definitely puts you in a different mindset than the gorgeous graphics, sweeping soundtrack that tyria normally has. https://soundcloud.com/arenanet   SAB Gem Store Items https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/april-means-super-adventure-box-items-in-the-gem-store/ (video of the new box http://youtu.be/6sIRXCD_jpo?t=6m42s) They’re cute but not something I’d spend money on, however the weapon skins you can trade for are certainly worth looking at   What Are You Thankful to ArenaNet For? http://mmogypsy.com/2013/03/gw2-appreciation-day-or-the-seven-months-recap.html couldn’t agree with the underuse of the store and the way they’ve implemented town clothes, the devs argument that it breaks immersion is a nice touch but feels like it’s just an excuse to say that town clothes are town clothes and that’s the end of it. Celeste - deposit collectible, incredible music(yes, even the minstrel), awesome armor colors and dynamic events Chris - The ability to jump in and play for short burst of time and still have an amazing experience. I haven’t paid for content since launch, and that makes me really happy.   Ask An Asuran https://twitter.com/DWalck/status/319966569650323456 @gwreporter I hear there are possibilities of 6 elder dragons...what is this I hear of the jungle dragon?   Origin of the idea : In Crucible of Eternity you’re preventing the Inquest from harnessing power from the elder dragons in order to create their own creatures. When you’re in the dungeon you see that there are 6 areas devoted to this task rather than 5. We were told there were 5 ED: Primordius, Jormag, Kralkatorrik, Bubbles (the deep sea dragon) and Zhaitan. Confirmations: https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/game/lore/NPC-talking-about-six-dragons, http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1abqro/colin_johanson_eurogamer_interview_jungle_dragon/, and many more examples in-game. What information is available: It’s a jungle dragon existing in the maguuma jungle/wastes, anything else is speculation either educated or wild. Named Mordremoth, possible source of corruption for the Sylvari (we know there may be other trees that could be influenced and since the trees are sentient and we’re likely to run into alt-tree sylvari more often perhaps the corruption could be spread to The Pale Tree), may have transformed the jungle into the wastes. Something to Ponder: There could be more than 6 elder dragons, the number 6 came from the Jotun Stelae (“6 swallowers”), Tyria (the world) is HUGE. It could be that only 6 have been encountered by the surviving sentient races of Tyria.
