Ep 22 - Competitive lists on a budget

Tartan Skirmish Radio show

Summary: Episode 22 - The Davecast Guests - David Hamilton Dave Reekie . Malifaux is often heralded as a low entrance cost game, using only a boxed set and a few blisters to get you going, but to play competitively often means that your wallet can get taken outside and beaten to a pulp. But does it need to be so expensive to get a selection of models to give you a fighting chance in an organised play event.  In this episode the 3 Daves sit down and talk about 3 lists that they have worked out using a budget of £100.  The £100 was used to purchase (UK RRP) a pool of models that the player would feel comfortable taking to an event that was using the Gaining Grounds 2013 framework. We also announce our first competition for some new artwork for the Facebook page and CD cover: Link To close the show we answer a few questions from twitter, including what realistic cost is there to getting into Malifaux, what Gencon models would we like to see and Dave H starts doing 80's wrestling impressions.  No, I don't know why either. .
