Summary: MEXICO EDITION: Teachers from the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, Chiapas and Michoacán are rejecting the educational reform plan presented in February by President Enrique Peña Nieto. The teachers are holding marches and rallies in Mexico City as well as occasionally blocking the federal highway between Mexico City and Acapulco. They demand a national dialogue to discuss the reform approved by Mexico's Congress in January. Also in this edition, reports of agression and attacks on community radio stations in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. Radio Huave and Radio Totopo, had their broadcast equipment stolen, while journalists from Radio Xadani and Radio Voces del Pueblo have received death threats. These community radios have manifested their opposition to Spanish companies Mareña Renovables and Gas Natural FENOSA installing wind energy in the region.
