Summary: Mondello is where the people of Palermo go to the beach. At the beginning of the 20th century, however, it was a still a swamp surrounded by two promontories. A nobleman had the idea of draining it out to the sea, and the beach of Mondello was created. Adriano tells us about the place, and about a gastronomical specialty called the "arancine".
