Kacy Allgood, MLS is an embedded librarian for the Indiana University Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of Out-of-Hospital Care, Indianapolis EMS, the Indiana Emergency Medical Services for Children and MESH, a disaster preparedness agency. She received her Bachelor of Business in 2003 and Masters of Library Science in 2007 from Indiana University (IU). She spent four years as a medical librarian for IU, and was once an EMT. In 2012, she was awarded the Sewell Fellowship for embedded medical librarians.
