Technical Specifications: Driver Size: 50mm Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20kHz Cable Length: 6.6ft USB / 3.3ft 3.5mm Cable Type: Braided Magnet Type: Neodymium USB Powered: Yes Microphone: Detachable Headset Type: Wired Compatible With: Windows 7 Windows Vista Windows XP Mac OS X (10.6.6 & Higher) iPhone HTC BlackBerry Average Price:  $149.99 Pros and Cons: This headset is well made, though the metal used in the design makes the headset heavy. The cushioning on the headset is thick, and the ear cups fit around your ears tightly. The tightness of the cups gives excellent noise cancellation, but caused the temple piece of my glasses to dig into my temples and along the top of my ears, and became uncomfortable after short periods of time. The more I wear the headset the less this is an issue. Listening to game sounds or music is a joy. You can really get immersed in the game world when you can hear all the little sounds like footsteps, and wind through the trees as the game designers intended them. The Cyborg has three equalizer settings, game, music and chat, to choose from. Changing the sound modes is easy just reach up to the left earpiece and tap the button. This headset also features a volume control on the headset itself. Now there is no need to tab out of game to change the volume to talk to your family or hear what you kids are trying to ask you. The Cyborg features a removable mic with a 3.5mm plug. The mic glows red when muted so you can clearly see when you are muted. No more accidentally letting your group members know what you really think of them when they cause a wipe or forcing them listen to you discuss things with your spouse when you get aggro. The plug that covers the jack when the mic is not attached to the headset is small and could be easily lost when not in use. The Cyborg F.R.E.Q 5 headset is very versatile You can attach the longer USB connection to your computer or you can connect the shorter 3.5mm plug and use the headset with your MP3 player Smartphone or tablet. I used the headset while cleaning, and the headset stayed put as I moved around though my ears got hot quickly. I wouldn't use them for jogging because of their weight and size, but for moving around the house listening to tunes or watching a movie on your device they are a great choice. It’s The Little Things That Matter: The 3.5mm plug end was too wide and I was unable to use it on my IPhone with the case on my phone. The detachable mic and the lay flat ear drums make this a headset you can slip into your backpack and take with you when you travel or commute. The edges of ear cups can make your earring posts poke into your neck if you don’t put the headset on carefully. There is sometimes  an odd hum when no sound is playing and the mic is open. When the mic is muted the hum goes away. Score: I give this a 3 out of 4 a Hit. The sound quality, versatility, and sturdiness of this headset make this a solid Hit.   1 out of 4 – Miss: Disappointing, just like rolling a 1 to hit
