Radio Enso Episode #30 with Raam Dev

Radio Enso show

Summary:   Join me Monday, February 20th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern. My guest will be writer, thinker, engineer, and nomad Raam Dev.   About Ram: Raam explores human nature, our growing planetary social responsibility, and our place in the cosmos. A practical dreamer and student of nature, he creates to share, explores to lead, and lives to learn.   "I grew up in a small rural town north of Boston. Before I was born, my parents adopted a combination of Buddhist and Hindu teachings and my childhood was very much oriented towards the ancient Indian culture. My name is of Indian origin but I’m not Indian.   I was home schooled and at the age of twelve my parents gave me the responsibility of teaching myself. Through my teens I taught myself computer science and software engineering and started my first business when I was sixteen. To this day I have not had any formal education.   In early 2010, I sold nearly all my possessions and left a decade-long career in the IT industry to pursue a childhood dream of traveling the world. I arrived in south India one month shy of my 28th birthday with $1,500 to my name and one bag on my back.   Instead of discovering myself, I discovered an entire planet that needed my help. I met so many people who desperately needed someone who cared, someone willing to do whatever it took to help them. I evolved and grew as human being.   For more about Ram, visit http://raamdev.com/.
