Summary: Time to break out the old NES, and fire-up some Rampage! Godzilla - King of the Monsters, the gravest threat to humankind as we know it... er, CHAMPION and DEFENDOR of the human race -- and he sure can dance!?! Kaiju - or "strange beast"â?¦ giant monster movies - the cinema has been filled with them since the dawn of silent cinema. Our greatest cities have been trampled, flattened, and incinerated by a plethora of beasts, from Rodan to Mothra to great big green guy himself. Tony and Ted are joined on location by Bill, HETC listener and Kaiju cinema fanatic, for an affectionate look at the history of big, mean monster movies on the silver screen with an emphasis on the continuing output of Toho Studios.
