EPISODE 195 - Monsterpiece Theatre

Horroretc Podcast show

Summary: MONSTERPIECE THEATER It's the witching hour and its quiet enough in the catacombs that you can hear the dead stir in their graves... By candlelight sits a Mann sipping port, an old tome in his hands - the storyteller welcomes you to the library hearth! In an inspired moment, Tony flies solo this week and explores some of his literary favorites which have spawned cinematic horror throughout the years. There's Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, a pair of classics from Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Canterville Ghost), as well as a detailed look at the legend of Sweeney Todd - and his legacy on screen. It's an eclectic one-off program this week which we hope will appeal to lovers of the classic macabre. In typical Horror Etc fashion this tale of terror starts with an Epilogue... let's just hope it's not yours. As always we welcome your comments: horroretc@gmail.com Voicemail (206) 337-5324
