Nintendo has posted their Fiscal Year Ending (March 2019) and we go over what their plans are for the 3DS and the Nintendo Switch for the rest of 2019. Detective Pikachu kicked off in Japan, and results have been very positive for the movie. Build-a-bear is getting more plushes, GO tickets are still slowing rolling out, and new Wobbuffet merch is hitting shelves in Japan.

The Pokémon Company has announced that there will be a full rotation of the current cards in the TCG format the day before Pokémon Worlds. Cards such as Ultra Ball, Guzma, and Tapu Lele will not be playable starting August 15th, 2019. There are Pokémon GO issues in Milwaukee, WI, so restraining orders are in line for some players. Mr. Mime was almost cut from the Detective Pikachu movie, but after talking to the president of The Pokémon Company, it made the cut!
Wicked Cool Toys released their Detective Pikachu toy line at retailers this past week, SBJ goes over what you should and should not buy. Pokémon GO burnout seems real for some trainers in the community. We talk about the past Community Day and the upcoming egg event this week. Sword & Shield gets a brand new Steel-type move that a fan from Japan will get to name, we compare it to a past move that had a similar contest. Finally, what things bothered us in Pokémon games, like poison outside of battle, that we are happy that Game Freak addressed in future games.
Let's talk about Master Trainers in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee! With new Pokémon toys coming to Burger King, we talk about how the last time the BK had toys they were recalled to an unfortunate event. Pokémon GO Fest is coming back to Chicago and we talk about that. Pokémon GO is also taking another stab at the Legendary Lunch Hour. On top of that, we talk about a very expensive TCG card that you can buy for the low low cost of $3000.
