Dr. Mark Siegel is a Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine here at Yale and serves as the Program Director for the Yale Traditional Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Pischel is a second-year resident in the Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Our founder and first host, Dr. Pranay Sinha, explains the inspiration behind the podcast, as well as its odd name.   Dr. Sinha is a graduate of the Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program and a former Editor-in-Chief of the Beeson Beat. He is currently working as a hospitalist for Yale-New Haven Hospital until July, when he will move to Boston to pursue a fellowship in Infectious Disease.
