This is a replay of the Michael Reagan interview Frank and Shane did on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. We're discussing his latest book, "The New Reagan Revolution: How Ronald Reagan's Principles Can Restore America's Greatness." It's a 'rules for conservative revolutionaries'. The book centers upon the speech Ronald Reagan gave at the Republican convention in 1976. Gerald Ford had won the nomination and would face Jimmy Carter to retain the presidency he had assumed as vice-president to Nixon. Reagan spoke without notes, extemporaneously, on what the stakes were. It would be the speech that started a revolution. His adopted son, Mike Reagan, writes a book that both lays out his father's principles and then uses many examples to illustrate how his father put them into practice. It's a primer and a reminder that every generation has to fight for its freedom.

On January 11 Shane Borgess of Political Vindication Radio interviewed John Hawkins of Right Wing News. John gives his opinions on incivility, the main-stream media, and the work Republicans have to do to protect their reputation against a malicious media machine. It's 38 minutes long and well worth the time!

Tonight Frank and I will be on internet radio – hosting Political Vindication Radio. It’s a great chance to talk politics and culture, maybe a little Hollywood. We’ll certainly be talking about the stories that we posted here on Political Vindication.com, as well as all the blogosphere has to offer. Have you heard about the just released census numbers for 2010? We’ll be getting into the details of the count and what it tells us about our country. How’s that ‘war on Christmas’ going? Predictably – the web is full of ridiculous examples of political correctness sapping the holiday of its meaning, call in if you have a story! We’ve got a ton of stuff lined up, it ought to be a fun couple of hours.

From the left we hear about the evils of capitalism and the intolerance of the religious. From the right we hear of the socialist cabal and the intolerance of the elite. As the power changes in Washington, Americans are starting to realize that for real change to happen, they're going to have to do it themselves. Is America headed toward another civil war?

Many Americans wondered how the president and his base would interpret the November tsunami that wiped out the House and made the Senate a fair fight - Obama told reporters that it was just scared people worried about the economy. We can see by his actions today that he knows exactly what the November Revolution meant - Americans don't like his answers for helping the economy and we repudiate his party's far left transformation of America. This isn't about two extremes battling over policy, it's about a center right nation taking back it's history and its future!

Julian Assange of Wikileaks claims that all he does, he does for freedom. Many argue that this third release of American classified information is a strike for an open society and government accountability - and it may be. But there's no doubt that Assange and opportunists like him are eager to attack America because it's safe to do so - and those governments that are outright hostile to freedom get no such sunshine. Question - Is Julian Assange a hero or a coward?
